Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and motivated Game UI Designer Intern to join our team at Codeia.io. This 3-month unpaid internship is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring UI designers who want to gain hands-on experience in the gaming industry. As a Game UI Designer Intern, you will work closely with our design and development teams to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our games.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user interfaces for games, including menus, HUDs, icons, and other interactive elements.
• Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure the UI aligns with the overall game design and enhances the player experience.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas.
• Implement and iterate on UI designs based on feedback from team members and playtesting.
• Ensure that UI designs are optimized for performance and usability across different devices and screen sizes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in game UI/UX design.

Requirements:

• Passion for game design and a strong interest in UI/UX design.
• Basic understanding of UI design principles and tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
• Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
• Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work is highly desirable.
